I’m thinking about dropping out of the oboe studio next semester.

If I take lessons and wind symph next semester (which is what I need to do to keep my $5K scholarship), I’d be taking 22 credit hours. Which is pretty crazy.

Since I’m moving off campus, I won’t need that 5K to keep going to BG. But if I keep playing oboe, I’ll be saving a lot of money in the long run…

But! My oboe teacher’s kind of a complete bitch, and I really don’t have the time to be taking lessons and practicing and going to studio and rehearsing for wind symph. Especially since I’m doing marching band again.

I really have no idea what I want to do. I love playing oboe, but I don’t want music to get in the way of me graduating within this century, and I don’t want my grades to suffer because I’m so busy…
